Governor Cuomo presented his vision for the future of the MTA (Metropolitan Transit Authority). Boyce Technologies is proud to be a partner as we continue to roll out Help Point Units throughout the New York City Subway System. The Help Point Unit (pictured right) provides NYC Transit riders a direct line to emergency services, as well as general ridership information.
Boyce Technologies enjoyed a great evening at The Skylark in midtown Manhattan to celebrate our 2015 successes and to kick-off an even better 2016!
It was an amazing evening with the Boyce Technologies family.
Sometimes where you start your career is not where you end up. Chris Ramirez, Senior Computer Aided Drafting Designer, or CAD Designer, of Boyce Technologies found that a 12-year career in architecture left him feeling a bit bored. Chris was searching for something that would renew his drive and creativity. So he walked away from architecture and used his expertise in AutoCAD to work for Siemens, where he did electric, mechanical, and industrial design. His expertise then led him to become the first employee ever hired at Boyce Technologies, which in turn provided him the opportunity to become involved in the development of the Help Point Unit from its earliest stages.
To Our Valued BTI Team,
With the holidays upon us and 2015 drawing to a close, it’s a great time to look back at this unforgettable year. Together we have continued to design and manufacture truly innovative products that make New York a safer place.
It would take pages to list all of our accomplishments so I will just say that I am immensely proud of the work that we do. It is getting hard to find a New York City subway station without any Boyce equipment in it! Our energy, enthusiasm and creativity are evident in every Help Point, Access Node, Bi-Directional Amplifier, Public Address System, Custom Mount and Enclosure that we make.
On October 29, the New York Transit Museum celebrated the 50th anniversary of New York City’s Landmarks Law and the many landmarked transportation structures restored by the MTA. Boyce Technologies is a proud benefactor of the New York Transit Museum. The 2015 gala benefited educational programs of the New York Transit Museum.
