Boyce Technologies is dedicated to keeping manufacturing and engineering jobs here in the New York area. When we first decided to expand our operations, it quickly became apparent that staying in New York City would not be easy.

We owed it to our team to try and keep their jobs close to their home and to public transportation. Long Island City, where we have been based since our inception, was an ideal location. We knew, however, to make this vision a reality we needed support from our local government leadership, and the community.

We have been very fortunate to work with a number of state and city agencies including the New York City Industrial Development Agency, the Empire State Development Corporation, the Queens Chamber of Commerce and the Long Island City Partnership.

On July 29, 2016, we had the pleasure of hosting New York State Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul, pictured here with Elizabeth Luskin, President of the Long Island City Partnership, Charles Boyce, President of Boyce Technologies and Thomas Grech, Exec Director of the Queens Chamber of Commerce. They toured the Boyce Technologies manufacturing facilities in Long Island City. Charles Boyce introduced Lt. Governor Hochul to our staff, showed her some of the amazing products we develop, as well showcasing some of the machinery we use to manufacture products like our interactive Bus Signs, Help Point Unit, and Access Nodes.

We’re proud to have Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul’s leadership and support in helping to create and retain jobs in New York. We can’t wait to have her back as we unveil our new state-of-the-art facility in the coming months!
